The much-anticipated 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) results are scheduled to be unveiled on Thursday, November 23.
The Education Ministry has confirmed that Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu will preside over the release ceremony at the newly established Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) headquarters in South B, Nairobi.
Approximately 1.4 million students participated in the KCPE examinations, with an additional 1.2 million undertaking the KPSEA exams (Grade 6).
This particular group of candidates marks the final cohort to undergo the traditional KCPE, making way for the comprehensive adoption of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) in primary schools.
As a result, students will now be evaluated through the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) examinations.
It’s an exciting time for students, parents, and educators as they eagerly await the outcome of the 2023 KCPE results, signifying not just individual achievements but also the beginning of a new era in the education system.
Stay tuned for the official announcement from CS Ezekiel Machogu at the KNEC headquarters in Nairobi.
