Education Cabinet Secretary, Ezekiel Machogu, is gearing up to announce the eagerly awaited 2024 Form One placement results on Monday, December 18
The release venue is set to be Lenana School in Nairobi, as detailed in an official notice dated December 15, 2023.
Additionally, the notice highlights that CS Machogu will convene with regional and county directors of Education at the same location.
The meeting’s primary focus is on the implementation of educational programs in field offices and schools nationwide, according to Dr. Elyas Abdi, the Director General at the State Department for Basic Education.

This year, a total of 1,406,557 candidates participated in the KCPE exams. In a prior announcement during the release of KCPE results last month, CS Machogu revealed that 8,525 candidates achieved scores exceeding 400 marks, constituting 0.60% of the class.
Notably, 352,782 candidates fell within the 300 to 399 mark range, representing 24.92% of the cohort.
The largest group, with 48.49% of candidates, scored in the 200-299 marks bracket, totaling 658,278 individuals.
Furthermore, 38,3025 candidates secured marks between 100 and 199, making up 27.05% of the overall candidates.
Those with less than 99 marks constituted a minimal 0.15% of the total number of candidates, totaling 2,060 individuals.
