Three men were shot and killed in an ambush in Kibish, Turkana County.
The three were traveling on two motorcycles in the Nangoseingatuny area when they were ambushed by the gunmen, police said.
Police who visited the scene said an unknown number of people were traveling from Lokomarinyang general direction towards Kibish using two motorcycles when they were attacked on May 28.
The attackers picked up the three bodies and hid them in a bush before escaping.
Police arrived at the scene and conducted a search recovering the three bodies.

They were taken to the Lodwar mortuary pending identification and autopsy.
A team investigating the incident said they are yet to establish the motive so far.
This comes amid tension in the area of possible retaliation from the affected victims’ families.
The area is among those under police operation to recover illegal weapons in the hands of civilians.
The operation started three months ago and involved multi-agency teams covering various counties.
