Detectives are investigating an incident in which a man was found murdered outside a guest house in Dandora area, Nairobi.
The man was identified as Silvan Pius.
He had earlier on Tuesday booked a room at a guest house and checked in.
According to staff at the Kanunga Guns House, the man walked out of the guest house almost 30 minutes after he had checked in.
He told the receptionists he would be back but he did not return.
The workers there were later informed there was a body of a man lying outside the guest house.
The workers rushed to the scene and confirmed it was the body of the man who had earlier left the room.
They called the police who said he had three stab wounds in the chest.
It is suspected he was attacked by suspected thugs during a robbery mission.
Police said they are investigating the matter with the aim of making an arrest.
The motive of the murder is yet to be known.
Elsewhere in Molo’s Kaloleni village the body of one Gilbert Mwaura, 30 was found with stab wounds in the stomach.
Police said they are yet to know those behind the murder and motive.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe.
