
Sir Michael Gambon, the famous actor who played Professor Albus Dumbledore in many Harry Potter movies, has passed away at the age of 82, according to his family.
He was well-known for his role as Professor Dumbledore in six out of the eight Harry Potter films.
Besides that, he also acted in Fantastic Mr. Fox, portrayed the French detective Maigret, and starred in The Singing Detective.
Sir Michael’s wife and son shared that their cherished husband and father passed away peacefully in the hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.
He had been battling pneumonia.
