Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced a temporary disruption in the prepaid token vending system to undertake an upgrade.
The interruption is scheduled to occur from Sunday, June 2, at 10 pm until Monday, June 3, at 10 pm. Customers have been duly notified about this maintenance activity.
During this period, the prepaid token vending system will be inaccessible across all platforms, including Kenya Power Offices, their MPESA Pay bill number, Airtel Money, and banking channels.
Consequently, customers will be unable to purchase electricity tokens.
In light of this, Kenya Power advises its customers to ensure they have an adequate stock of tokens beforehand to mitigate any inconveniences that may arise due to the disruption.
This planned upgrade underscores Kenya Power’s commitment to enhancing its service delivery and ensuring the efficiency of its systems.
