On Tuesday, the lifeless body of Pamela Atieno Omunya, a 60-year-old woman, was discovered floating on a water pan in Nyandiwa village, Alego/Usonga, Siaya County.
Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo revealed that members of the public stumbled upon the grim sight while fetching water from the pan.
The deceased had last been seen by her sister, Irene Adhiambo, with whom she shared supper on Monday night before retiring to her home in Osumba village, situated in the neighboring sub-location of Randago.
