Arnold Schwarzenegger, the famous actor, former governor of California, and bodybuilder, recently shared his thoughts on the process of aging.
At the age of 76, he’s noticed some changes in his body that make him realize he’s not as powerful as he once was.
During an appearance on the “The Howard Stern Show” on SiriusXM, Schwarzenegger maintained a good sense of humor about growing older.
He humorously commented, “I kind of smile because every day I do look in a mirror and I say, ‘Yep, you suck.'”
He went on to express, “Look at this body.
Look at the pectoral muscles that used to be firm and perky and really powerful.
Now they’re just hanging there.’ I mean, what the hell is going on here?”
The famous “Terminator” actor acknowledged that he was aware of his physical prowess during his younger years.
He added, “When you’ve been hailed for years as this supreme body, and you have the definition and you see the veins coming down your abs, and you see veins on top of your chest and then cut, you roll the clock 50 years and you’re standing there and you don’t see that anymore.”
Schwarzenegger was also promoting his latest book, “Be Useful,” in which he shares the life lessons and strategies that have helped him succeed.
He emphasized the importance of teaching young people to be resilient, participate in sports, pursue education, face challenges, and grow through difficult experiences.
“Let’s go and teach kids to be tough, to go out and do sports, to go and study, to struggle, and to go through these kind of painful moments sometimes,”
