This is after three key Bills that are seeking to amend existing laws governing digital lending were subjected to public participation to incorporate views of stakeholders from across the country. Residents of Woodley Estate are in distress after their homes were demolished Tuesday morning. This comes after the residents, through their association, failed to prevent the demolition of their houses. A total of 43 houses, including that of veteran broadcaster Sammy Lui lost their homes in the exercise on Tuesday. The residents opposed the move, arguing that they were not involved in the decision-making process before the demolition was carried out. A gun holder shot and wounded himself as he argued with a security guard at the Hilton Hotel barrier, Nairobi. Police said Robert Kiptoo is a licensed gun holder. Kiptoo had on November 17 at about 8 pm approached a barrier outside the Hilton Hotel along City Hall Way demanding to use it to enter the premises. Tragedy As Gunmen Shoot And Kill Woman, Two Cows In An Attack In Buuri, Meru County \Gunmen raided a village in Thare, Buuri, Meru County and killed a woman before escaping with more than 100 livestock. They also shot and killed two cows as they shot back at a team of police officers who responded to the scene on November 16. Police said they grabbed 26 cows and 80 goats belonging to several herders before escaping towards Isiolo direction. A corporal of police was found dead after he shot himself in the chin in a suicide mission at the National Police Service Campus in Nyeri county. The incident happened Monday November 18 morning and involved corporal Collins Imoni Onyando. He blew his head near the residence of the college commandant.
