Police are looking for a gang that attacked and seriously injured a bodaboda rider in a robbery incident in the Mlolongo area, Machakos County.
The rider had carried two pillion passengers from Mukuru Kwa Reuben to Mlolongo on Monday night when they turned out to be robbers.
He told police they had reached the intended destination when the men attacked and stabbed him in the stomach and chest leaving him for dead.

The gang later grabbed the motorcycle and rode off with it.
Police arrived at the scene and found Elias Musila bleeding before rushing him to the hospital.
No arrest or recovery has been made so far and the victim was recuperating in hospital on Wednesday, police said.
Such incidents are on the rise in estates amid operations to address the trend.
Some of the motorcycles are stolen modified and changed for use elsewhere.
Police squads are pursuing the gangs behind the incidents.
