Police are investigating the suspected drowning of a man whose body was found a quarry water in Wajir.
The man was identified as Yusuf Abdi Mohammed.
His body was found in Khorof Harar by children from Bura Daw Yare who were grazing animals on Thursday, police said.
They told police they came across the lifeless body of a man floating in an abandoned quarry full of rainwater.
Police with the help of members of the public removed the body to Khorof Harar Sub County Hospital mortuary for postmortem.
They later handed the body to the family members for burial in accordance with the Islamic rites.
Rains have caused more than 136 deaths so far in separate incidents.
The number of households displaced remains at 92,432 comprising 462,160 persons.
