

The woman was identified as 22-year-old Mary Ann Wangari, a fourth-year student at the Bomet university.
The police said that the body was found floating in Chebirir area, in the raging waters of river Nyangores on Monday, April 10.
Bomet Central sub-county Deputy Police Commandant Ali Bashir said the Communication and Public relations student went missing last week on Tuesday.
He said the body was discovered by a member of the public who to informed the police.
“Our team together with the college administration have begun recording statements from students who were last seen with the deceased as we embark on serious investigations,” said Bashir.
He added the body had already started decomposing.
The cause of death is yet to be known.
The body was moved to Longisa County Referral Hospital mortuary pending autopsy and further probe.
