A businessman who was assaulted in a fight along Muchai Drive in Kilimani area, Nairobi has died in hospital.
Mohamed Hassan succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, April 26 at the Coptic Hospital where he had been admitted since April 22, 2023, after an assault.
He was with his two friends when they were attacked by a person known to them.
The assailant escaped the scene and the three were taken to hospital where Hassan died days later, police said.
Police say no arrest has been made but they are looking for a known suspect.
The motive of the attack is said to be business rivalry.
Meanwhile, a son of Samburu Member of the County Assembly died in an accident along Kisima-Maralal Road.
MCA Joseph Lokoren Loloju was on April 25 at about 3 pm driving a four-wheel drive car towards Maralal when it rolled and killed his son aged four years.
The MCA and five other people who were in the car were injured in the accident.
The injured were taken to hospital where they are undergoing treatment, police said.
