In a statement to newsrooms, the head of County Public Service Godgry Akumali said the closure will be experienced from the City Hall Way roundabout to the Parliament roundabout
The closure will be effected from Monday at 8:00pm to Thursday 3:00pm.
Motorists have been advised to plan in advance on navigating alternative routes.
The Service Park for the WRC Safari Rally has been undergoing a meticulous set up, with teams starting to dock their containers in preparation for the event set for March 19-23.
This is likely to inconvenience some road users, officials warned.
Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja said they are working with all stakeholders to ensure smooth running of business.
The championship continues to significantly boost hotel occupancies in Naivasha and its surrounding areas with over 100,000 visitors expected next week for the event.
Security officials said they had mapped all routes to be used for security reasons.
They want motorists to follow instructions issued by personnel on the ground.
