Comedian Mannerson Oduor, widely known as Akuku Danger, has announced the heartbreaking news of his father’s passing.
The former Churchill Show star took to Instagram to share that his father lost his long battle with cancer, leaving the family devastated once again.
“Don’t even know what to say, go well Dad.
Our family will never be the same again. I wish you a safe journey as you transition to the next phase. Shine on.
You put up a fight,” Akuku Danger expressed in his heartfelt message, reflecting the immense pain of his loss.
In the midst of his grief, fellow actor and friend Sandra Dacha offered her condolences in a poignant tribute.
“CANCER, you are a monster. I can’t even begin to understand what you’re going through right now. I am deeply saddened by the news,” she wrote.
“Your dad was always proud of his beautiful family.
He was a kind man and a true gentleman. May my condolences bring you comfort, and my prayers ease the pain of this loss.”
This tragedy adds to Akuku Danger’s recent heartache, as he continues to mourn the loss of his loved ones.
Just a year prior, he lost his younger sister, Brianna Saviour, to sickle cell disease. Brianna, a Form One student at Kadika Girls High School, passed away on July 30, 2023, after a lifelong struggle with the illness.
At that time, Akuku Danger shared his sorrow, stating, “Woke up to the saddest news: my little sister went to be with the Lord last night.
Like me, she was born with sickle cell disease and succumbed to it. Rest well, warrior.”
In this challenging moment, friends and followers have rallied around Akuku Danger, sending messages of support as he navigates through this profound loss and the heartache that accompanies it.
