Police are investigating the death of a man whose decomposed body was discovered in a borehole that was in use in Kabiria area, Nairobi.
Police who visited the scene said the body had decomposed and it is not clear when it was put there.
And it is not clear if he was killed or he fell there accidentally, police said.
A resident who was cleaning and repairing the 57 feet deep borehole said he discovered the body on Tuesday, February 14 afternoon.
Police said the man is aged about 45 and is yet to be identified.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and identification as part of the probe.
