Defence Secretary Aden Duale is getting ready for a three-day official visit to Egypt.
He’s going to meet with Egypt’s Defence Minister, Gen. Mohamed Ahmed Zaki.
“This visit is about making the bond between Kenya and Egypt even stronger.”
Representatives from both Nairobi and Cairo will talk about different things, like how to keep the region safe, and how to work together on sea and air security.

They’ll also look at ways to collaborate on military education.
Kenya and Egypt have a strong friendship, especially when it comes to defense.
They have a yearly meeting called the Joint Military Committee, where they share ideas and help each other out.
Just recently, engineers from Egypt’s army visited Kenya’s army engineers, and right now, there’s a workshop happening with officers from both countries’ navies.
This shows how active their partnership is.
