Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has embarked on a three-day official visit to Europe, representing President William Ruto at the Global Gateway Forum hosted by the European Commission in Brussels.
The visit underscores Kenya’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and strengthening diplomatic ties with the European Union (EU) and its global allies.
The Global Gateway Forum, which brings together prominent leaders and policymakers, focuses on enhancing collaboration in key sectors, including digital innovation, green energy, transportation, healthcare, and education.
The discussions aim to drive advancements and innovation in these areas, benefitting not only the EU but also its partner countries, including Kenya.

During his visit, DP Gachagua is scheduled to hold discussions with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

In addition to his participation in the Global Gateway Forum, Gachagua is set to engage with key stakeholders in the global coffee market as he travels to Germany.
