Five-Year-Old-Girl Killed And Body Dumped In Unused Borehole In Nyamusi, Nyamira County


Police are investigating the murder of a five-year-old girl whose body was found dumped in an unused borehole in Nyamusi area, Nyamira County.

The body of the girl was discovered on Thursday January 29 after her murder.

Police said they were yet to establish the motive of the incident.

She had strayed from her home before the body was found in the borehole, police.

The body had an injury in the forehead. Police said the body was removed to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

In Nyali, Mombasa County, a 52-year-old man died after exercising at a gym.

Police said Birdieg Kavraj had been to the gym for evening sessions when he sat on a chair, collapsed and died.

The cause of the death was not immediately established and the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, police said of the January 29 incident.

In Makutano, Marsabit County, a human skull was recovered in a thicket.

The skull was recovered in a thicket in the Ethiopian side in Sololo and is believed to be of Guyo Ndenge, 51 who went missing last year
in July in the area.

The family did not report the incident of him missing.

The skull was moved to the mortuary pending other procedures.

Elsewhere, an Indian national was found dead in his room at a hotel in the Nairobi Central Business District.

The man was identified as Grover Vishwanath Ramlal, 74.

He had checked into the hotel on January 26 and was to leave on January 29 when he was found dead on his bed.

The cause of the death was not immediately known and the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures, police said.

Police want to establish how the man died.
