The announcement of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results for 2023 is expected to be made by the Minister of Education, Ezekiel Machogu, sometime this week.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the release will take place at Moi Girls in Eldoret on Monday, though there has been no official communication from the ministry to the media.

Back in December, Machogu affirmed that the 903,260 candidates who completed their exams in 2023 would learn about their results in the second week of January 2024.
The significance of these 2023 KCSE results lies in their correlation with the introduction of a new grading system aimed at boosting university admissions.
If the release indeed happens at Moi Girls on Monday, it will mark a historic departure from the tradition of releasing examination results at Mtihani House in Nairobi, signifying a notable change in the ministry’s approach.
