Joseph Onyango, 20 died after being stabbed in the neck by two men known to him in a scuffle on Sunday night in Kasabuni area.
Police said they were called and informed of the incident after it had happened.
This was as a result of a conflict between the deceased and two assailants namely Sammy and Onesmus over a mobile phone.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending probe and hunt on the known suspects.
Elsewhere, one Samuel Kibe aged 30 years was electrocuted as he was trying to illegally connect electricity power from a transformer.
Police and witnesses said he accidentally touched a naked live wire with his bare hands, which electrocuted him.
Police arrived at the scene and took the body to the mortuary.
Such cases have been blamed on illegal power connections amid a push to address the menace.
