Police are investigating an incident in which a 21-year-old man was killed in a fight among mourners at a funeral in Bungoma County.
Zedrick Barasa was among mourners attending the funeral of one Moses Wasike on June 18 when a fight broke out.
The cause of the altercation and fight is yet to be established, police said.
And in the process, Barasa was hit with a metal rod in the head and was seriously injured, police said.
He was rushed to Kitale Hospital and then referred to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital where he passed on while undergoing treatment, police said.

The said assailant is being sought.
Elsewhere in the Mandongoi area of Magarini, Kilifi county, the body of an unknown man was found lying in a thicket with gunshot wounds.
Police who visited the scene said they are yet to establish the motive of the shooting.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending identification and autopsy.
