Police are investigating the death of a 45-year-old man whose body was found in Kosovo area, Kiambiu slums, Nairobi.
The deceased was identified as Rodrick Adanye and was found lying dead on the floor of a mabati structure.
Police who visited the scene said the body was found with some physical injuries on the left-hand palm, deep cuts on the right foot ankle, bruises on the back of the head, and bleeding from the nose and left ear had been chopped off.
Police suspect the victim was murdered but they are yet to establish the motive and those behind the Tuesday night incident.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and further probe.
Elsewhere in Shauri Moyo, two suspects were arrested in connection with the murder and robbery of a man.
Allan Omondi, 26 died in hospital following his attack in the area by armed men who robbed him of a mobile phone.
He sustained serious injuries before succumbing at the hospital on Tuesday morning.
This prompted the arrest of the two suspects aged 18 and 15, police said.
