

A 50-year-old man was arrested after he shouted to airport officials at Moi International Airport, Mombasa that he had a bomb.
Harrison Njenga Kiarie was being screened when he became wild and shouted at the staff there he was carrying a bomb in his bag.
The man was departing Mombasa when the incident happened.
Police were called and arrested him.
He was arrested and upon thorough search, a bomb was recovered and kept as an exhibit, police said.
He was taken to custody pending arraignment.
It is not clear what he wanted to do with the explosive.
Police said they plan to destroy the explosive.
