A 56-year-old man was found dead in his house in Mowlem, Nairobi in a suspected murder incident.
The body of Bernard Maina was discovered in his house where his radio was then playing at high volume.
Police said they were called and informed the body had been found in the house with the door open on Saturday, February 18.
The caretaker of the houses where the deceased was found said he noticed the door to the house was open and the volume of the radio was high which was unusual.
It was then he checked and found the body lying on the floor motionless.
Police said the body had no visible injury and was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and further probe.
Elsewhere in Mihango, a police officer who had been sick died in his house.
Constable James Mwai Kariuki had been suffering from pneumonia for almost a year before he died in the house.
He was attached to the Vigilance House transport pool and was on medication, police said. His wife reported he had died in his house before police moved in and moved the body to the mortuary.
