Authorities are investigating an incident in which a man was electrocuted while taking a shower in the Korogocho slum, in Nairobi.
The body of Paul Warula, 28 was discovered in his bathroom long after he had died on Sunday night, police said.
Police say they are investigating the incident.
Such incidents are common in informal settlements and are blamed on illegal connections.
Police and Kenya power officials have been conducting operations to tame illegal connections that also lead to losses in revenue collections.
