Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man whose body was found in Kinangop Town.
Police said locals reported they heard gunshots and on checking they found a man lying in a pool of blood with bullet wounds.
The body was moved to Engineer County Hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem and identification.
Meanwhile, police shot and deflated the tires of a car before arresting three suspects who had earlier robbed a couple of Sh284,000 in the Ekerenyo area, Nyamira County.
The car was headed for Kericho when the officers laid an ambush and shot at it deflating the tyres on Wednesday.
The occupants had posed as Airtel agents at Ikonge market while using a salon car that had earlier on been reported stolen.
Several Airtel lines were recovered from the suspects and seized as exhibits, police said.
The said vehicle had initially been circulated as stolen in June this year.
