Mansa Funds Deliver Strong Double-Digit Returns in 2025 Across KES and USD Portfolios


Mansa’s flagship investment funds posted robust net returns for 2025, performing strongly across both Kenya shilling and US dollar-denominated portfolios, according to data released by the fund manager.

The results were powered by the Mansa-X strategy, a diversified approach investing across a wide range of global asset classes including currencies, commodities, precious metals, equities, cash, and fixed income.

The Mansa X Special Fund (KES) achieved a 20.74% net return for the year, supported by steady quarterly gains of 4.89% in Q1, 6.05% in Q2, 5.09% in Q3, and 4.71% in Q4, surpassing its long-term performance averages. Over a three-year period, the fund recorded an average net return of 19.43%, with a five-year average of 17.86%, demonstrating consistent outperformance against historical benchmarks.

Dollar-denominated portfolios also ended the year on a positive note. The Mansa X Special Fund (USD) posted a full-year net return of 13.37%, with quarterly gains of 3.14%, 3.47%, 3.52%, and 3.24% respectively, and a three-year average return of 12.66%.

The Mansa X Shariah Special Fund (USD) recorded an 11.64% net return in 2025, with quarterly gains of 2.87% in Q1, 3.06% in Q2, 3.88% in Q3, and 1.83% in Q4, reflecting steady, moderate growth throughout the year.

These figures highlight a year of diversified and resilient growth for Mansa, with all flagship funds exceeding their long-term averages. By achieving a standout 20.74% in KES while maintaining double-digit returns in USD portfolios, the fund manager successfully balanced high-yield local investments with stable foreign currency gains.
