Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga has emerged as the most sought-after local personality in Kenya for the year 2023, according to Google’s recently released data.
The search engine’s ‘Year In Search’ report unveiled that Omanga’s popularity on the platform reached its peak on April 16.
During this time, Kenyans actively searched for terms like ‘omanga viral video,’ ‘millicent omanga viral video,’ ‘millicent omanga trending video,’ ‘video of millicent omanga,’ and ‘omanga trending video.’
Televangelist Ezekiel Odero, slain deejay DJ Fatxo, content creator Georgina Njenga, controversial pastor Paul Mackenzie, athlete Faith Kipyegon, former Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’I, former IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati, Chief Justice Martha Koome, and businesswoman ‘Mathe wa Ngara’ followed in the list of Kenya’s top-searched personalities.
On the global stage, Kenyans also expressed interest in personalities such as Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk, English footballer Declan Rice, Ecuadorian footballer Moisés Caicedo, English footballer Mason Mount, Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, Cameroonian football goalkeeper André Onana, Portuguese footballer João Félix, American TV personality Steve Harvey, and Belgian footballer Leandro Trossard.
