A three-year-old minor was Thursday night killed in a fire incident in Kibra slums, Nairobi.
Police said the remains of Favour Rioba were found in their house after a fire that broke out there had been contained.
The mother of the child told police she had left the house for food and left the minor alone therein when the fire broke out.
Police who attended the scene said it was only her house that caught fire and they had not established the cause of the inferno.
The remains were picked up at the mortuary pending a further probe into the incident.
