The deceased was identified as Evans Okoth, 26 a bodaboda rider.
A second victim is nursing stab wounds following the Thursday, April 13 incident.
Police said Okoth was carrying three pillion passengers on his bodaboda when he was involved in an accident with a salon car whose details have been retrieved and a hunt is ongoing for the driver.
After the accident, an argument ensued between the rider, his pillion passengers and the driver of the salon car.
This is after they failed to agree on who was in the wrong.
Witnesses said a fight broke out before the driver of the car drew a knife from his pocket and stabbed Okoth in the left side of the chest killing him on the spot.
He also stabbed one of the pillion passengers in the right thigh as the other two scampered for safety.
The driver jumped into his car and drove off fearing dropping the killer’s weapon at the scene.
The weapon was recovered and kept as an exhibit.
Police said they are investigating the incident and a hunt for the motorist is ongoing for him to tell his side of the story.
Cases of road rage involving bodaboda riders have been on the rise.
