Police said the vehicle accidentally caught fire while delivering petrol to a local filling station within the town early Thursday.
Machakos County police commander Joseph Ole Napeiyan said the incident happened at around 4.00 am Thursday.
Locals joined in containing the fire in vain. It badly damaged to vehicle.
“No casualty nor damage to other properties detected,” Napeiyan said.
Napeiyan said the cause of the incident was yet to be established.
