The lineup for the yearly Tusker Oktobafest is all set, promising a fantastic month of cultural festivities throughout East Africa.
This event is put together by East African Breweries.
The festival will feature some amazing musicians who will perform in South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.
The celebrations will begin in Juba, South Sudan, on October 21st, with headliner Harmonize from Tanzania, alongside John Frog from South Sudan and our very own Kenyan artist, Ndovu Kuu, who also happens to be the Tusker brand ambassador.
Over in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, on the same day, the festival continues with a fantastic lineup.
It includes the legendary Ugandan artist Jose Chameleone, Tanzania’s own Ali Kiba, and Kenyan rapper and singer Nyashinski.
The fun doesn’t stop there! On October 22nd, the festival moves to Kampala in Uganda, where Harmonize and Nyashinski will be joined by the talented Azawi from Uganda.
The grand finale, taking place from October 27th to 29th at Nairobi’s Ngong Racecourse, is the highlight of it all.
It will feature some of the biggest stars in the region, including the incredibly famous Tanzanian artist, Diamond Platnumz, Kenya’s very own Nyashinski, and South Sudan’s John Frog.
Ann-Joy Michira, the Marketing and Innovation Director of East Africa Breweries PLC, expressed her excitement, saying, “OktobaFest is a celebration of our unique East African identity, and this year’s artist line-up is a true testament to the diversity of musical talent in this region.
We are thrilled to bring together such incredible talents from South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya and look forward to audiences being treated to unforgettable experiences across the region”
