Artist Nyota Ndogo from Taita Taveta County has committed to re-funding the education journey of troubled artist Stevo Simple Boy.
Nyota Ndogo made this clear through his Facebook page where she expressed her desire to help the artist who is not the first time to get such kind of help.
Giving her idea how to completely end the problems facing by Stevo, Nyota Ndogo said that the biggest obstacle is that he does not have proper education like how to read and write.
The star of ‘Watu na Viatu’ said the only way to make sure Stevo gets rid of his problems first is to give him educational support so that he can know how to read and write, because that is the only way to be able to manage everything by himself. “If I am given Stevo, I will send him to school so that he can at least get an education like mine. At least he can know how to read a little, I write to you. I will not even raise money for this because I will teach him according to my limited ability, but I believe it will help him.” Said Nyota Ndogo.
The artist also gave her main reasons why she aims to support him academically and not to help him on a successfully journey through music.
In her words Nyota Ndogo said, “I have read many comments where people say that he doesn’t know how to read and write. It means that without him knowing how to read or write, he will not know how to operate his accounts. Don’t be surprised that he may be refunded his accounts but he still doesn’t know how to use them. I may not have high education but I know a little how to read and write, and this help me a lot”
Earlier, Nyota Ndogo, after being informed that the artist has reportedly returned to his life in slums of Kibera, recalled the memory of how they met, saying that just by his image he saw him as a troubled person.
