A tragic incident unfolded at Kangundo Hospital as a petrol station attendant lost his life while receiving medical treatment.
The unfortunate event occurred on a Monday when he was forcefully thrown out of a moving vehicle.
This harrowing incident transpired after a group of unidentified individuals had refueled their vehicle at the petrol station where he worked, situated along the Tala-Kangundo road.
According to reports, the individuals in question, after filling up their tank, chose not to settle their fuel bill.
Instead, they disembarked from their vehicle and coerced the petrol attendant to join them inside their car before swiftly departing from the scene.
Subsequently, while the vehicle was still in motion, the occupants ejected the helpless attendant from their car and fled the scene at high speed.
Fortunately, compassionate bystanders and Kangundo police officers came to the rescue of the injured attendant.
They discovered him lying on the roadside with significant injuries and promptly transported him to Kangundo Hospital.
Despite the efforts of the medical team, the attendant’s injuries proved fatal, and he tragically passed away while at the hospital.
His remains were later moved to the hospital’s mortuary for further procedures.
