

A member of the National Police Reserve and a cashier at a hotel in Mandera were arrested after the shooting of a waiter at the facility.
The waiter is admitted to the hospital with a bullet wound following what officials termed as an accidental shooting.
The incident happened on April 22 at the Riverside Hotel after a member of the National Police Reserve placed his rifle on a table at the facility.
Police said the reservist identified as Salat Hassan had arrived at the hotel for the night shift and decided to clean his AK47 rifle with two magazines that had 60 bullets.
Hassan told police he placed the weapon on the table before a cashier at the hotel identified as Mohamed Hajim 28 picked it up and accidentally pulled the trigger.
He shot one Hussein Garre, 21 who is a waiter at the facility in the neck.
And in panic they all rushed to rescue the victim and rushed him to Mandera Referral Hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.
Police said they were called to the scene and arrested both the cashier and NPR for grilling.
The team also took away the rifle and 59 bullets.
