

Police are investigating an incident where a police officer killed a colleague in a fight at a camp in Lomut, West Pokot.
It is reported that Constable Stanley Chesire was stabbed with a kitchen knife in the lower left armpit by Corporal Martin Njenga who later escaped the scene.
The victim was rushed to the nearby Endo Mission Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Njega later surrendered and he was arrested and moved to Marich police station ahead of arraignment.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
Police link the attack to ongoing fatal attacks within the service which are also linked to work-related trauma.
