President William Ruto has announced appointments to key positions in state corporations, bolstering leadership in critical sectors.
Shallow Abdullahi Yahya has been appointed as the Chairperson of the National Drought Management Authority, effective from December 15, 2023, until July 12, 2025.
Aggrey Lucas Kidiavai has been chosen as the Chairperson of the State Corporations Appeal Tribunal, securing a position for a tenure of five (5) years.
His role will involve overseeing and adjudicating on appeals related to state corporations.

President Ruto has further selected a team of to serve on the Board of Directors of the Kenya Revenue Authority. The appointees include Hadi Sheikh Abdullahi, Richard Boro Ndun’gu, Lydia Cherono Rono, and Amolo Ngweno, reflecting a diverse range of expertise in revenue matters.
In a move aimed at strengthening financial governance, Michael Kamau Kamiru has been elected as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Nairobi International Financial Centre Authority.
Njuguna Ndun’gu, the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Economic Planning, has appointed Darshan Shah as a member of the Board of Directors of the Nairobi International Financial Centre Authority.
Davis Chirchir, Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum, has made key appointments to the National Oil Corporation of Kenya Board. Magerer Langat, Joseph Ngugi Njenga, and Amina Bille will serve as board members for a period of three (3) years, effective from December 15, 2023, contributing their skills and experience to the energy sector.
