The body of a 13-year-old boy who was missing for four days was found in a thicket in Kamulu area, Nairobi.
Police said they have no clue on the killers and motive.
An investigation into the incident has been launched, police said.
Jaylan Njoroge was found brutally murdered four days after his disappearance.
His body was discarded in a thicket 200 meters from his grandmother’s home.
The family of the slain boy is appealing to the police to expedite the investigations.
Police visited the scene and moved the body to the mortuary pending autopsy.
The motive of the February 17 incident is yet to be established.
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man was stabbed and seriously injured during a robbery mission in Kariadudu area, Kariobangi, Nairobi.
The victim suffered multiple stab wounds in the back and neck as he fought off suspects attacking him on Tuesday February 18 morning.
Police said he lost the fight and fell on the ground before the gang grabbed his two mobile phone and other valuables before escaping.
Police established he was attacked by two individuals armed with crude weapons.
The injured victim was rushed to Mama Margret Kenyatta Uhuru Hospital for treatment.
Efforts to trace the attackers are ongoing, police said.
Cases of armed robberies have been on the rise amid police efforts to contain the trend.
Police usually advise victims of robberies to cooperate with their attackers for their own safety.
This is after it emerged some victims were left with serious injuries while trying to fight off their attackers.
Others were left dead, police said. Police said they are pursuing criminals behind the attacks.
