President William Ruto appointed former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi to be the chairperson of the National Oil Corporation of Kenya Board of Directors.
Kiraitu will hold the position for a period of three years, Ruto said in a notice dated April 19.
Also handed a State job is former Tharaka Nithi Governor Samuel Ragwa who was appointed to be the Chairperson of the National Cereals and Produce Board and former Makueni Deputy Governor Adelina Mwau to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
Ruto appointed Prof. Kimathi Mbogori Kigatiira to be the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Veterinary Vaccines Production Institute.
Richard Cheruiyot and Godfrey Lemiso were appointed to be the Chairpersons of the Export Processing Zones Authority and Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation respectively for a period of three years.
Former Presidential candidate David Mwaure Waihiga was appointed to be the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the National Environment Trust Fund for a period of three years.
National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njuguna Ndung’u appointed lawyer Adrian Kamotho Njenga to be the chairperson of the Capital Markets Tribunal for a period of three years.
Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen appointed Jonathan Tokei, Liz Aluvanze, Col. (Rtd.) Rogers Mbithi Muneene, Boniface Mureithi Wanjau, and Annette Mbogo to be members of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, for a period of three years.
Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi appointed Raymond Komen, Paul Marus, Naomi W. Kibugi, Juliet Dorcas Ngetich, and Galgalo Wako Abagaro, to be members of the Board of Directors of the National Cereals and Produce Board, for a period of three years.
Linturi also appointed Humphrey Itotia, Daniel Senerwa, Cherono Kiptanui, Same Okuthe, Mary Kamau, and Stephen Lenarokushitu as members of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Veterinary Vaccines Production Institute, for a period of three years.
