President William Ruto has appointed Kajiado Member of Parliament loser Samuel Sakita Kutata to be the chairperson of the Ewaso Ng’iro South River Basin Development Authority for three years.
Kutata contested the MP seat on a UDA ticket.
Through a gazette notice dated April 6, 2023, the president also picked Adan Mohamed to serve in the position of the chairperson of the board of directors of the Kenya Leather Development Council after revoking the appointment of Francis Munywoki.
Mohamed will be joined by Michael Kihuha Nyagi, Florence John, Regina Ngima Muthami, Peter Gathii, David Rotich, and Moses Oude as members of the council.
Ahmed Kolosh Mohamed was named the chairperson of the Kenya Roads Board.
Defence Cabinet Secretary Eden Duale rearranged the Advisory Committee on Military Veterans by choosing Esther Wambui Njombo, Nelson Wekulo Oditypo, Ashford Miriti Ndumbi, Rehema Athman Said, and Joseph Kithome Muindi as members.
Some changes in the Board of the Kenya Airport Authority were made as CS Kipchumba Murkomen appointed Walter Oglla, Sarah Kimani, Rebecca Lamong, and George Ngungi as members.
CS East African Community, the ASALS, and Regional Development Rebecca Miano appointed Caroline Pulei, Eunice Singoei, Silas Kasura, Nkaesha Naikuni, Mathew Gathua, Elijah Kesei, Veronica Silantoi, William Kenteyia, and Silas Otieno to join Kutata as members of Easo Ng’iro South River Basin Development Authority.
