President William Ruto appointed former Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kipkemei Kostany to be the chairperson of the board of Directors of the Kenya Airports Authority for a period of six years.
His appointment comes as the president continues to reward his loyalists.
The president through a gazette notice dated March 17, 2023, also appointed Musyoki William Kimanthi as the chairperson of the Legal Aid Service Board for a period of six years.
Education Cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu made changes in the national polytechnics by appointing a new board of directors.
Machogu picked Agnes Wanjiru Kamiri as chairperson of the council of the Kabete National Polytechnic with Henry Huka Duba, Honey Abdi Mohamed, Purity Sein, Isabella Njeri Mwangi, and Gilbert Nyogi as members.
The CS further appointed Patricia Mwaka Mbogoh as chairperson of the council of the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic and Luciana Sanzua, Peter Munyao Kimilu, Nuru Bwanakombo, Albert Kagwa, and Shukri Baramadi as members.
He went ahead and chose Paul Kibirech as chairperson of the council of the Kitale National Polytechnic and Odongo Sylus, Salina Cheruiyot, Harrison Tanga, Isaac Mudogo, and Jane Ahuru as members.
Anthony Njagi Getambu, David Kanyoi Gachuru, and Mabel Kyayisia Manashi will serve as chairpersons on the board of directors at Meru National Polytechnic, Nyeri National Polytechnic, and Sigalagala National Polytechnic respectively.
CS MSMEs Simon Chelugui selected Michael Chesikaw, Beatrice Sawe, Philip Gichuki, Fridah Lotuiya, and Paul Otieno as members of the Co-operative Tribunal.
