Mugiithi sensation Samidoh reached a significant milestone on Friday as he graduated from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) with a degree in Business and IT.
Joining thousands of fellow graduates at this year’s commencement ceremonies, Samidoh celebrated a proud moment in his academic journey.
Expressing his excitement on social media, Samidoh posted, “Congratulations!! Fellow Graduands.
Discover JKUAT. Leo hakuna kukunja sura na vile kwa hizi street mumekuwa,” receiving hundreds of congratulatory messages from his fans.
In an earlier interview, the musician spoke about his dedication to education despite financial challenges, recalling his journey from Kenya Polytechnic where he started his diploma.
“I was a bright student, I just lacked fees. When we finish with this undergraduate, we are going for masters until I feel like I am satisfied. My goal is getting a PhD,” Samidoh shared.
Samidoh’s manager, Moses Marite, also extended his congratulations, praising the artist’s determination: “Congratulations boss Samidoh, HSC, on your academic achievement.
You are a relentless champ who, no matter how hard a situation seems, never concedes. Kongole kaka.”
Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, Samidoh’s baby mama, commended his leadership qualities during the launch of his foundation in 2023.
“Samidoh is already a leader; he is a born leader, and it is up to him to make that decision at the right time.
He is book-smart and has potential in so many things. He is talented and it is just helping him to bring them out,” Nyamu remarked, acknowledging his aspirations and drive.
