In Florida, a 23-year-old woman lost her life during a dispute over Christmas presents, leading to the arrest of her teenage brothers.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the young mother was shot in the chest by her teenage brother while carrying her 10-month-old son in a carrier.
The situation escalated further when the older brother, aged 15, fired his gun, injuring the baby.
The sheriff’s office revealed that the entire tragedy unfolded during an argument over the distribution of Christmas presents.

Sheriff Bob Gualtieri shared with the media that the 15-year-old fled the scene and discarded his firearm.
Meanwhile, the younger brother, aged 14, was hospitalized in stable condition and will face custody upon release.
The local prosecutors will assess the case to determine whether the younger brother will be charged as an adult for the tragic killing of his sister.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Sheriff Gualtieri explained that she suffered internal bleeding, preventing her from breathing properly.
However, he reassured that the infant in the carrier remained unharmed.
The 15-year-old brother has been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in connection to this devastating incident.
