A Tanzanian national was killed in a head-on collision on Sunday evening in Isinya, Kajiado.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. when the driver of a Mark X lost control while trying to overtake several vehicles.
The Mark X veered into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a Toyota Sienta traveling in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Mark X was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police report stated, “The driver of the Mark X died on the spot.
The driver of the Toyota Sienta sustained serious head injuries, and two male passengers in the same vehicle also suffered severe head injuries.”
Emergency responders transported the injured individuals to Kajiado County Referral Hospital for treatment.
The body of the deceased was taken to the hospital’s morgue for a post-mortem examination.
Both vehicles, which were extensively damaged in the crash, have been towed to Isinya Police Station for a thorough inspection and investigation.
