Three people were Wednesday killed in an accident involving two motorcycles along the Chwele-Kimilili road, in Bungoma County.
Police said a rider who was heading to Kimilili from Chwele recklessly tried to overtake another one.

“Due to the impact, both riders and the pillion passenger died on the spot,” police said.
The bodies were moved to Bungoma County Referral Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
A crowd congregated at the scene following the incident as police said they will investigate it.
Police authorities said they are investigating the incident.
