A student with Kenya Methodist University was found dead after a suspected murder in Muthurwa area, Nairobi.
Police said members of the public reported sighting a body along Muthurwa Road before a team visited the scene.
It was established the deceased was Simon Njoroge Nyoro, 21 who was a student at the Kenya Methodist University.
The body had a stab wound on the upper left chest, bruised knees, and bloody clothes.
Police said the body was moved to the City mortuary awaiting postmortem.
No arrest has been made so far, Central police boss Stephen Okal said.
The motive of the Monday February 3 murder is also yet to be established.
In Huruma area, Nairobi, a body was found along Outering Road.
The body had visible deep cuts on the left side of the cheek, left side of the neck was slit with a sharp object.
The body was to Nairobi Funeral Home pending autopsy and probe.
In Makongeni area, Nairobi, the body of Bernard Mutinda, 27 was found on a footbridge after a suspected murder.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
Police said no arrest has been made so far over the same.
Elsewhere in GG area, Gilgil, the body of one Peter Waweru Njuguna, 22 was found on the roadside, police said.
The body had a visible deep cut on the head and signs of strangulation on the neck.
No arrest has been made over the murder of the victims, police said adding a probe is ongoing.
And in Siakago, Mbeere, an eight-year-old boy drowned in a fishpond as he ventured there for swimming.
The deceased was a grade three pupil at Riandu Primary School.
Witnesses said the deceased went swimming with his friends at a 12-feet deep fishpond when he drowned.
The body was moved to Embu General Hospital awaiting postmortem.
