Two men are facing charges of murder after a tragic shooting at the Super Bowl victory parade in Kansas City.
The incident resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to 22 others.
The altercation leading to the shooting reportedly began with an argument between the two charged individuals, Dominic Miller and Lyndell Mays.
According to Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker, the men are accused of second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
Allegedly, Mays initiated the argument and brandished a handgun, which escalated the situation.
Authorities state that Miller is believed to have fired the shot that resulted in the death of Lisa Lopez Galvan.

The family of Lisa Lopez Galvan expressed gratitude for the arrests, acknowledging that while it doesn’t bring back their loved one, it provides some comfort.
Meanwhile, additional charges have been brought against two teenagers in connection with the shooting.
Prosecutor Peters Baker clarified that the newly charged individuals are adults, distinct from the previously reported juvenile suspects.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, with the possibility of further charges.
“We seek to hold every shooter accountable for their actions on that day – every single one,” Peters Baker emphasized.
The wounded individuals ranged from eight to 47 years old, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the violence.
This incident adds to a concerning trend of shootings occurring at sports celebrations across the United States.
