Wakadinali, comprising Domani Munga, Sewersydaa, and Scar, stands out as the lone Kenyan representative on Spotify’s top streamed list, claiming the impressive seventh spot.
Notably, they also hold the title of the most searched artists in Kenya on Spotify.
Adding another feather to their cap, the rap trio, affectionately known as ‘Rong Rende,’ has their album ‘Ndani ya Cockpit 3’ securing the tenth position as the most streamed album of 2023.

Drake also claims the top streamed artist spot among 18-34-year-olds and is the most searched artist on Spotify in Kenya.
The top streamed tracks are predominantly Afrobeats, with Darassa and Bien’s collaboration ‘No Body’ being a notable exception in sixth place.
Kinoti’s ‘Nitangoja’ claims the second spot for the most viral track in Kenya on Spotify, while ‘Sasa Hivi’ by Vijana Barubaru and Ashley Music strikes a chord with Kenyan R&B enthusiasts, securing the tenth spot as the most viral song.
