In Nakuru County, authorities are actively pursuing a woman believed to have fatally stabbed her boyfriend during a domestic dispute on Tuesday night.
The suspect, Beth Muthoni, allegedly killed 27-year-old Peter Njenga Muruga in his residence following a night of revelry.
The incident came to light when the landlord, Peter Mwangi, reported that a female tenant had stabbed one of his male tenants.
According to a police report obtained by Citizen Digital, Muruga’s lifeless body was discovered on the sofa, bearing visible stab wounds on the left arm bicep, and eye.
The report revealed, “During the night, they spent time out drinking in a neighboring club and engaged in an argument upon returning to the house, which led to the suspect stabbing the deceased.
Inside the house, there were signs of a fight.”
Muruga’s body has been transferred to the Annex Hospital Funeral Home in Nakuru pending a postmortem examination, while the alleged perpetrator, Beth Muthoni, remains at large.
The investigation into the tragic incident is currently underway.
